The new 2024 Volkswagen Atlas will start at $49,995

The new 2024 Volkswagen Atlas will have a starting price of $49,995 when it goes on sale this fall. The new Atlas is joined by the redesigned 2024 Atlas Cross Sport, which will have a starting price of $48,895.
The new 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport feature a significant array of improvements across the board, primarily focusing on enhanced performance and efficiency, more features and luxury, and new versions to appeal to a diverse base of owners.
New Standard Engine
Both the 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport will now feature a standard turbocharged two-liter powertrain that delivers 269 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. This new engine provides the same horsepower and torque numbers as the outgoing VR6 6-cylinder engine, but torque is delivered across the rev range for better performance and fuel economy. An eight-speed automatic gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive are standard across the lineup.
Therefore, the new Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport will deliver better performance and fuel economy than the current model lineup.
More Features and Refinement
There is a long list of new standard features offered on the 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. These include:
