Three Changes that Make the Volkswagen Tiguan Better in 2022

The Volkswagen Tiguan has received a minor restyling for 2022 and it is now equipped to be one of the most modern and more competitive compact SUV in Canada this year.
New ways to communicate with the infotainment system
The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is equipped with a modified version of the previous infotainment system which now features a Wi-Fi capability and the Car-Net connected services that allow you to control some aspects of the vehicle from your phone. To replace the previous buttons used for navigating the infotainment system and setting the interior temperature, the new Tiguan uses touch capacitors in many places such as the steering wheel and the climate control panel. The available navigation system features reworked maps that are kept up to date via over-the-air updates.
A number of new features
The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan becomes more upscale with the addition of a number of standard or available features that are designed to make life aboard more comfortable and more pleasant. Thus, the entry level model gains the heated front seats and the 8-inch Digital Cockpit instrument cluster screen. The push button start system is also new to the standard equipment list this year.
An increased level of safety
The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is not only more modern and comfortable, it is also safer than before. This is because many new safety technologies have been introduced or made available to more affordable models. For example, the front and side assist, two systems designed to prevent frontal and lateral collisions, are now standard on every models and the complete IQ.Drive suite of active safety features has been made standard on the second model up the range and available to the entry-level model. In addition, the Travel Assist system is now available on some Tiguan models in order to relieve drivers of some of their tasks when driving on the highway.
